1. Who we are
Navakrit (“Navakrit”, “we”, “us”) is based in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. We provide AI-powered customer relationship management (CRM) software, messaging automation, integrations and custom software development services (together, the “Service”).
2. Our role
- Account and website data. For information about our own customers and website visitors, we decide how the data is used and act as the Data Fiduciary (controller).
- Customer content. When businesses use Navakrit to talk to their own customers, the messages, contacts and files they store are processed by us on their behalf and on their instructions. For that data the business is the Data Fiduciary and we act as a Data Processor. If you are an end customer of a business that uses Navakrit, please contact that business first about your data.
3. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: name, business name, email address, phone number, password and role.
- Communications: messages you send us for sales, support or feedback.
Information from connected channels
When you connect a channel such as the WhatsApp Business Platform, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, email or SMS, we receive the data needed to run your inbox: business account and page identifiers, access tokens, message content and media, sender names, phone numbers or profile identifiers, and delivery and read status.
Information collected automatically
- Device and log data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed and timestamps.
- Cookies that are strictly necessary for sign-in and security, plus optional analytics cookies, which you can decline.
4. How we use information
- To provide, maintain and secure the Service and your account.
- To send, receive and organise messages across your connected channels, and to run the automations and AI features you enable.
- To send service and account notices.
- To respond to support requests and improve the product.
- To detect fraud and abuse and to meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use customer content for advertising.
5. AI features
When you turn on AI features such as automated replies, summaries or lead qualification, the relevant conversation text is sent to our AI model providers to generate a response. These providers act as our sub-processors, are bound by contract to process data only to provide the Service, and may not use your content to train their models. You can switch AI features off at any time.
6. Data from Meta platforms
Data received through Meta platforms (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger) is used only to provide the messaging features you have authorised, in line with the Meta Platform Terms and the WhatsApp Business policies. We do not sell this data, share it with data brokers or use it to build profiles for advertising. You can disconnect a channel at any time, which stops further data collection, and request deletion as described in our Data Deletion Instructions.
7. How we share information
We share personal data only with:
- Service providers who help us run the Service, such as cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics and AI model providers, under contracts that protect your data.
- Messaging platforms (for example Meta) to deliver the messages you send through them.
- Authorities, where required by law or to protect rights, safety and security.
- A successor entity in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
8. Data storage and transfers
Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. Some of our service providers may process data outside India; where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure it stays protected as required by applicable Indian law.
9. Retention
We keep account data while your account is active. Customer content is retained according to your settings, and is deleted within 30 days of account closure or a verified deletion request, except where we must keep certain records to meet legal obligations.
10. Security
We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, role-based access controls, and logging and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
11. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws you may ask to access, correct, update or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf. Write to hello@navakrit.com. We respond within 30 days.
